Lamb of God is quite popular these days. And for obvious reasons. They play a watered-down thrash metal mixed with various
core elements. It is just enough metal to call it metalcore, but not enough to actually call them metal. The explicit lyrics
make them sound tough, but it seems that they are failing.
This combination would work if it was speed up, and put more feeling into it. It's rather hollow, which is disapointing.
The fact that this is found in the metalcore genre is not the problem. The problem here is that it is a rehearsal of a metalcore
album.
My judgment is then against both the band and the fans. First of all, metal is supposed to be intense and full of feeling.
There is neither in this. Therefore, they are guilty of perjury, because they labeled themselves something they are not.
The second part of the judgment is against the fans that are not discerning. Just because they put out albums that people
like\liked, it does not mean that the new albums are worth listening to.
