Beyond
Twilight follow up their stellar first with an album that truly is progressive. There is chanting and piano and soaring guitars
and vocals scattering throughout this album. The album is a cohesive piece, as all the songs fit together, with the main theme
repeating in various creative forms. Yet, it is not as straightforward. The album is meant to be played in any order and still
make sense. Others bands have tried something like this, but have failed. Also of note, the band has composed and played some
of the songs backwards and forwards giving unique flourishes to the same melody. On top of this, they have taken rhythms of
life and set them to music, like the rhythm of laughter. This album can be listened to multiple times in multiple ways, and
will not get stale. This is one of the best albums to come out, and maybe the most unique.
