Images of Eden suffers from a lack of good production. There seems to be something good happening in the music, but it's hard
to find it in the mix. I had to check the booklet to make sure that it was not a drum machine being played. My ear was fooled.
The guitars seem to have their emotion stripped of them, and sound dull and flat. Same with some of the vocals. The production
and mix strip this good progressive metal album of enjoyability. Images of Eden are on the slower side of prog metal, and
some times cross into prog rock, yet doing this adds movement and changes of pace to the album. A decent album from an up
and coming band.
