Avian is another melodic power metal band featuring the vocal stylings of Lance King. It seems that he's in every other band
on this label, which is nice, as he has a great metal voice.
Avian keeps the soothing chug of the guitar going while spacey keys play over them, then gracefully transitions into guitar
solos and the catchy verses and choruses. And of course, there is the prerequisite ballad thrown into the mix.
There is not a lot of great music here, but it is a solid release in the genre and does not get very repetitive like a
lot of power metal.
